EXPERIENCE
Following
11 years working in Manchester City Centre, Kirsty gained valuable
experience in a variety of business environments starting her career as
a temp, before working her way up to an Executive PA within an
international cinema organisation. In this role, Kirsty supported the
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. The position
provided daily contact with Senior Executives worldwide and held
responsibility for organising/ attending overseas Board Meetings.
Progression
into the field of Human Resources followed and Kirsty spent
a further 6 years with the same organisation as Group HR Co-ordinator,
studying and qualifying as a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development. The role reported directly to the
Director of Group HR, and provided the first point of contact for Head
Office Corporate Employees, covering for example, recruitment,
contracts of employment, line manager advice, HR projects and
International HR. Kirsty also held the position of Management Joint
Secretary to the European Employee Forum held annually in Brussels.
